glass balls-Chasing Light Through Hand Blown Glass Balls
Walking into the local craft market last weekend, I stopped in front of a stall full of round glass balls that caught the sun and threw tiny rainbows all over the ground. Each one had a little swirl of color inside, no two looked exactly the same. The old craftsman told me these are all made by sutu craftspeople who blow each ball by hand, taking their time to get every curve just right.
People hang these glass balls in their windows or string them up on porch trees. When the wind blows softly, they spin slowly, and the whole room fills with moving colored spots. Kids love chasing those spots across the floor, laughing as they try to step on each one before it moves. Even adults stop and stare for a minute, letting the simple little light show wash away the tiredness from a long week.

These glass balls are more than just pretty decorations. They remind us to slow down and notice the small, happy things around us. A little piece of handcrafted glass can bring so much quiet joy every single day, just from catching a bit of sunlight.
